The short version. This site collects one thing: your email address, and only if you type it into the launch-updates form. It's used for one purpose, to tell you when Aligno's first batch opens. There are no cookies, no analytics and no tracking.
Who is responsible
Aligno is being built by one person, Marius-Daniel Marinescu, who is the data controller for this site. There is no company yet. If one is set up to sell Aligno, it will take over the list, this notice will be updated, and you'll be told by email first, with the option to unsubscribe.

What is collected, and why
- Your email address, and the time you submitted it.
- Purpose: a few emails about Aligno's launch: when the first batch opens, its price and its timing. No newsletter, no profiling, no advertising, and the list is never sold or shared.
- Legal basis: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), given by submitting the form. You can withdraw it at any time; that doesn't affect emails already sent.
Who handles it on Aligno's behalf
- Netlify, Inc. hosts this site and stores form submissions on its servers in the United States. The transfer is covered by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses in Netlify's data processing agreement.
- Akismet (Automattic): Netlify checks every submission with this spam filter, which sees the submission along with technical details such as your IP address.
- Google (Gmail): the contact address above is a Gmail account, so emails between you and Aligno pass through Google.
If a mailing service is ever used to send the launch emails, it will be named here before it is used.
How long it's kept
Until the launch is over; then the list is deleted. It's deleted sooner if you unsubscribe, or if the project stops.
Unsubscribing and your rights
To unsubscribe, reply to any email or write to getaligno@gmail.com, and your address is deleted. You also have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or export your data, and to object to its use. Requests are answered within one month.
If you think your data has been mishandled, you can complain to a data protection authority. In Romania, that's the ANSPDCP (dataprotection.ro); elsewhere in the EU, it's the authority in your country.
Just visiting the site
The site sets no cookies and runs no analytics, tracking pixels or ads. Its fonts, images and videos are served from aligno.ro itself, so loading a page doesn't contact any other company. Like any web host, Netlify processes technical data (IP address, browser, pages requested) to deliver the site and keep it secure (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). Aligno doesn't use that data for anything else.
The Instagram and LinkedIn links only take you to those sites if you click them, and their own privacy policies apply there.
The Aligno device and app
This notice covers the website. The Aligno desktop app has no internet features: posture data stays on your own computer. A full privacy notice for the device and app will be published before anything is sold.
Age and changes
The form isn't intended for anyone under 16. If this notice changes, the new version is posted here with a new date. Any change to how your email is used needs your consent first.
